5th Indung Alang Musing opens September 12

A celebration of faith, art and devotion to the Blessed Virgin Mary will unfold in the city as Museo Ning Angeles hosts the ๐Ÿ“๐ญ๐ก ๐ˆ๐ง๐๐ฎ๐ง๐  ๐€๐ฅ๐š๐ง๐  ๐Œ๐ฎ๐ฌ๐ข๐ง๐  ๐Œ๐š๐ซ๐ข๐š๐ง ๐„๐ฑ๐ก๐ข๐›๐ข๐ญ from September 12 to 27, 2026.

Carrying the theme โ€œIndung Maria: Carinan ning Capayapan, Casngauan king Yatung Misalunanโ€ (Mother Mary: Sanctuary of Peace, Comfort to a Wounded World), the exhibit pays tribute to Our Lady of the Holy Rosary, the patroness and protector of Angeles City.

Held as part of the city’s Triple Fiesta, Indung Alang Musing seeks to offer pilgrims, devotees and visitors more than an appreciation of sacred art. It aims to provide a space for prayer, reflection, catechesis and renewed Marian devotion, highlighting the Church’s enduring tradition of honoring Mary and its mission of evangelization through sacred art and popular piety.

The exhibit presents revered Marian images as more than works of artโ€”serving as visual expressions of faith that lead the faithful closer to Jesus Christ. Through Mary as Queen of the Most Holy Rosary, Comforter of the Afflicted and Mother of Peace, visitors are invited to rediscover her maternal presence and seek her intercession, especially amid the struggles of a wounded world.

The activities will formally open on September 12, featuring an Opening Ceremony, Marian Talk and Grand Concert, bringing together the faithful and the wider community in an inspiring celebration of Mary’s role in Christian life.

Museo Ning Angeles and Kuliat Foundation, Inc. envision Indung Alang Musing as a Marian exhibit with a purposeโ€”one that deepens devotion, enriches appreciation of the Church’s sacred traditions and encourages the faithful to live out Mary’s example.

The public, especially Marian devotees and pilgrims, is invited to visit the exhibit, join the scheduled activities and spend time in prayer and contemplation under the loving mantle of Indung Alang Musing.

Through art, music and faith, the celebration hopes to inspire everyone to embrace Mary’s call to become instruments of Christ’s peace.
