The cremated remains of siblings James Patrick and Sheila Mae Taborlupa were laid to rest at the Eternal Gardens Memorial Park in Barangay San Sebastian, Tarlac City, on September 8, days after they were among those who died in the Agana Bridge collapse.
James Patrick and Sheila Mae were two of the five passengers aboard a gray Toyota Avanza SUV that plunged from the ill-fated bridge on the evening of August 29.
James Patrickβs remains were recovered in Barangay Carael, Lingayen, Pangasinan, on August 31, while Sheila Maeβs remains were found on September 2 in Barangay Tampog, Bayambang, Pangasinan.
Another victim, Shanen Tuhao, was recovered in Barangay San Vicente, Bayambang, on September 1.
The search for SUV driver and owner Paul Harvey Collado continues, as he remains missing. Narhaniel Taborlupa was the lone survivor of the bridge collapse.
The Taborlupa family expressed gratitude to everyone who took part in the search and retrieval operations and to those who offered condolences, prayers and support as they mourned the loss of the siblings.
