Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) Secretary Vince Dizon met with Pampanga Governor Lilia Pineda, Vice Governor Dennis Pineda, and mayors of flood-prone towns to discuss the province’s Flood Management Plan.
Among the key proposals was the construction of detention basins in San Simon, Santo Tomas, Candaba Swamp, and other areas frequently affected by flooding.
The measures aim to reduce the impact of flooding on communities and strengthen the province’s overall flood management efforts.
