The Angeles City Government, through the Angeles City Traffic Development Office (ACTDO), continues to strengthen the knowledge and capabilities of its traffic personnel through a Traffic Rules and Regulations Workshop aimed at promoting safer roads and smoother traffic flow.
Held in partnership with the Philippine Highway Patrol Team (PHPT)–Pampanga, the workshop focused on proper traffic management, road safety, and the responsible enforcement of traffic rules and regulations.
The initiative, supported by Mayor Carmelo “Jon” B. Lazatin II, forms part of the city’s continuing capacity-building efforts to ensure that traffic personnel are better equipped to handle various road situations and properly implement existing laws and regulations.
The city government said continued training is essential in developing traffic personnel who are knowledgeable, prepared and capable of helping maintain order and safety for motorists, commuters, pedestrians and other road users.
It also reminded the public that road safety is a shared responsibility, requiring motorists and other road users to observe traffic rules, respect one another and exercise caution on the road.
