Gov. Yap leads AICS payout to 772 Tarlac residents

Governor Christian Tell Yap led the distribution of Assistance to Individuals in Crisis Situation (AICS) to 772 qualified beneficiaries in Tarlac on September 16.

The payout, organized by the Provincial Social Welfare and Development Office (PSWDO) headed by Ma. Elena Jalos, was held at the Tarlac Provincial Hospital Covered Court, with Board Member Harmes Sembrano also in attendance.

Yap said the AICS assistance will continue to be extended across the province’s municipalities and its lone city to help residents facing financial difficulties and emergencies.

He said the provincial government continues to allocate funds for residents seeking assistance, particularly those dealing with difficult circumstances.

AICS is a social welfare program of the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) that provides temporary assistance to individuals and families in crisis. Aid may cover medical and burial expenses, education, transportation, food, and other financial needs.
