PSC, Subic leaders inspect site for Regional Tennis Training Center

Philippine Sports Commission (PSC) Chairman Patrick “Pato” C. Gregorio and Subic Mayor John Rey Tiangco conducted an ocular inspection of the Subic Bay Sports Complex as part of initial efforts to establish a Regional Training Center for Tennis in the area.

The inspection was conducted alongside Subic Bay Metropolitan Authority (SBMA) Director Yuri Honorio, with the group assessing the sports complex as a potential venue for the proposed regional training facility.

Earlier, Gregorio and Tiangco met with Subic International Golf Club (SIGC) President and COO Rei Miyamoto, General Manager Delnar De Vera, and Miguel Antonio Almeda to inspect the golf course and its facilities.

The proposed tennis training center is envisioned as a dedicated venue for regional athletes and grassroots development, with the initial site inspection serving as a step toward evaluating the facilities and requirements for the project.

The initiative seeks to strengthen tennis development in the region by providing a venue for training and athlete development.
