Au Revoir, Emily!

Six seasons. Seven unforgettable years. One bittersweet goodbye.

Lily Collins has closed a beloved chapter, filming her final scenes as Emily Cooper in ‘Emily in Paris’ — a role that has become deeply woven into her life.

In an emotional farewell, Collins reflected on the journey of playing the endlessly optimistic American who arrived in Paris, stepped beyond her comfort zone, and learned to trust herself while finding strength in the people around her.

She credited creator Darren Star for dreaming up Emily and thanked the writers, directors, crew and cast who helped bring the character and her colorful world to life. More than colleagues, she said, they had become family.

Collins also expressed gratitude to the fans who stayed with the series throughout its six seasons, inspiring the cast to “dream bigger” along the way.

Saying goodbye to Emily felt surreal and bittersweet, but the emotion was ultimately grounded in pride and gratitude.

For Collins, Emily was more than a character. She was a chapter of her life—one filled with friendship, romance, adventure, fashion and joy.

And while the Parisian adventure comes to an end, the memories will remain.

“This has forever changed me.”

Au revoir, Emily Cooper.
