The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) Pampanga and the Local Government Unit of Porac have completed the final phase of the Product Development and Municipal Branding Activity under Pasantingan 2026, the OTOP Philippines Product Development Program and Municipal Branding initiative.
Held on September 17, the activity marked the completion of product designs and packaging for participating micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs), bringing their product development and branding journey to its final stage.
Designer Novia Zapata presented the completed design concepts and shared insights to further refine the MSMEs’ products and give them a more distinct, cohesive and market-ready identity.
She was joined by DTI Pampanga Senior Trade and Industry Development Specialist Joseph Pineda, while the activity was supported by Porac Municipal Tourism Officer Gemilyn Marimla.
With the designs and packaging finalized, the participating MSMEs are now better positioned to bring their products to the market while highlighting the creativity, craftsmanship and local identity of Porac.
The initiative reflects the OTOP Philippines thrust of transforming local products and ideas into market-ready offerings that can carry the pride and identity of their communities to a wider market.
