The Provincial Government of Tarlac recognized outstanding employees, offices, retirees and public servants during its Employee Recognition Day on September 22 as part of the 126th anniversary celebration of the Civil Service Commission (CSC).
Led by Governor Christian Tell Yap, the event was held at the Bulwagan ng mga Gobernador at the Tarlac Provincial Capitol and organized by the Provincial Human Resource Management Office (PHRMO).
The recognition program honored employees and departments for excellence in public service, as well as those who had devoted decades to serving the provincial government.
Yap congratulated the awardees and thanked provincial employees for their dedication and contributions to delivering efficient, effective and responsive services to Tarlaqueños.
“Congratulations sa inyong lahat, at gusto ko kayong pasalamatan sa patuloy na galing na inyong ipinapakita upang makapaglingkod sa ating mga kababayan,” Yap said, emphasizing the need for public service to continuously improve for the welfare of the people.
CSC Tarlac Field Office Director Maria Cristina Gonzales, Board Member and Acting Vice Governor Henry Cruz, Provincial Administrator Dr. Krishna Buenaventura, and PHRMO Head Teresita Lasco also delivered messages during the gathering.
The Provincial Budget Office was named best office under the Support Service Category, followed by the Provincial Planning and Development Office and Provincial Assessor’s Office.
In the Administrative Services Category, the Provincial Legal Office placed first, followed by the PGO-Provincial Administrator’s Office and PGO-Internal Control Unit.
The Provincial Public Employment Service Office, La Paz Medicare and Community Hospital, and Provincial Agriculture Office received top honors under the Social Services Category.
An Academic Excellence Award was also presented to 25 employees who passed the Civil Service examinations and professional board examinations.
Posthumous awards were given to Jervis Neal Tiamzon, Marissa Bautista, Olivia Sacramento, Mariz Hipolito, Krishia Gacula, Wilfredo Manalo, Ronald Valencia, Nelson Robillos, and Evangeline Castillo.
Fifteen retirees who reached the mandatory retirement age of 65 were likewise recognized and given cash gifts.
The celebration carried the CSC anniversary theme, “Puso, Dangal, at Galing Para sa Bayan,” underscoring the values of dedication, integrity and excellence in government service.
A Lingkod Bayani Commitment Wall signing was also held, symbolizing the employees’ commitment to uphold excellence and dedication in public service.
Board Members Pearl Angeli Pacada, Harmes Sembrano and Mico Macasaet, department heads and provincial government employees also attended the event.
