A total of 898 residents of Barangays Dolores and Lakandula received food packs from the national government through a distribution led by Mabalacat City Mayor Geld Aquino, together with Vice Mayor Jun Castro.

The assistance forms part of the city government’s continuing efforts to bring social support closer to families in need.

Aquino thanked the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) and the Pampanga Provincial Capitol for their sustained support and assistance to Mabalaqueñians.

The city government said that under the Aquino administration, national government assistance is being delivered directly to intended beneficiaries to ensure that support reaches residents who need it.

City Councilors Patricia Acorda, Marjorie Sambo, Ike Morales, and Errol Soliven also joined the distribution.

The Mabalacat City government continues to coordinate with the national government and DSWD to expand the reach of social welfare programs and services to more Mabalaqueñians.
