The Mabalacat City Police Station, in partnership with the Mabalacat City LGU, will conduct a License to Own and Possess Firearms (LTOPF) and Firearm Registration Caravan on September 29, 2026, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Side Griller Resto Bar, Barangay Mabiga, Mabalacat City.

The caravan aims to facilitate the processing of firearm licensing and registration while encouraging firearm owners to comply with existing laws and regulations.

The initiative also forms part of the LGU and PNP’s efforts to reduce unlicensed and unregistered firearms and strengthen peace, order and public safety in the city.

Qualified firearm owners are encouraged to take advantage of the caravan to process or update their LTOPF and firearm registration, subject to the requirements and procedures prescribed by the PNP.

Under Republic Act No. 10591, the Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act, the appropriate license is required for the legal ownership and possession of firearms.
