Young learners in Magalang received more than school supplies as Congressman Carmelo “Pogi” Lazatin Jr. brought smiles and practical support to day care students of the San Agustin Day Care Center in Barangay San Agustin.

Each student received a tote bag filled with school essentials, including crayons, notebooks, pencils, an eraser, sharpener, and writing pad—giving the children a cheerful boost as they continue their early learning journey.

The support extended to their families, with each parent receiving five kilos of rice to help ease household needs.

Adding a sweet touch to the occasion, Lazatin also treated the young students to malunggay ice cream, turning the distribution into a fun and memorable experience for the children.

Lazatin was joined by Political Affairs Officer II Irish Llego and members of the Barangay San Agustin Council, led by Punong Barangay Allan Pineda, during the distribution.

For the children, the colorful school supplies were tools for learning; for their families, the rice was a helping hand; and for everyone gathered, the morning was a reminder that small acts of support can bring big smiles to a community.
