Tarlac Governor Christian Yap joined Agriculture Secretary Francisco P. Tiu Laurel Jr. at the National Food Authority (NFA) in Tarlac for an engagement with local farmers and agriculture stakeholders.

Yap said the visit provided an opportunity to listen to farmers and better understand their concerns, particularly on rice production, palay procurement, storage, and rice supply management.

He underscored the importance of continued coordination with the agricultural sector, noting the vital role of farmers in ensuring a sufficient and stable food supply for the province and the country.
