The Clark International Airport (CRK) is advancing the construction of its new 18-storey Airport Control Tower, a major infrastructure project aimed at strengthening air traffic management and improving travel safety and efficiency.

The tower was among the major infrastructure projects inspected by Executive Secretary Ralph Recto during his recent tour of the Clark Freeport Zone and Clark Aviation Capital. He was joined by DPWH Secretary Vince Dizon, Pampanga Governor Lilia Pineda, BCDA President and CEO Joshua Bingcang, CIAC President Jojit Alcaraz, and LIPAD President Noel Manankil.

Once completed, the structure will be the tallest airport control tower in the Philippines and will feature advanced radar and communications systems to enhance air traffic control and help ease airport congestion.

The project supports the Bases Conversion and Development Authority’s vision of positioning Clark as a world-class logistics gateway within the broader Luzon Economic Corridor and aligns with the national government’s efforts to modernize transportation infrastructure and improve connectivity.
