Senator Joseph Victor “JV” Ejercito was warmly welcomed by national officers of the League of Municipalities of the Philippines (LMP) during the Visayas Island Cluster Conference held at Royce Hotel Clark from September 28 to 30, 2026.

In his address, Ejercito, who chairs the Senate Committee on Finance, highlighted his legislative advocacies, including universal health care, local tourism, continued infrastructure development, and good governance reforms.

The conference brought together local government leaders and LMP officials to discuss issues and initiatives relevant to municipalities and local development.
