TODA drivers from 15 barangays in the western part of Tarlac City received food packs from the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) through the joint efforts of the City Government of Tarlac and the Provincial Government of Tarlac.

The assistance was intended to provide additional support to the drivers and their families amid their daily livelihood needs.

Mayor Susan Yap expressed appreciation to the DSWD, city and provincial government personnel, volunteers, and other partners who helped facilitate the distribution and bring the assistance directly to the TODA beneficiaries.

The initiative forms part of the local governments’ continuing efforts to extend support to transport workers in the city.
