Residents of four barangays in Tarlac City received rice assistance under President Ferdinand Marcos Jr.’s “Bawat Bayan Makikinabang” program, as the city government continues to provide support for families’ basic needs.

The rice distribution covered Barangays San Luis, San Jose de Urquico, Trinidad, and Culipat.

Mayor Susan Yap expressed gratitude to the national government for its continued support for Tarlac City and the province, noting the importance of sustained coordination with various government agencies to bring assistance closer to residents.

She also thanked the Barangay Affairs Office, City Social Welfare and Development Office (CSWDO), City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (CDRRMO), barangay officials, and volunteers who helped ensure the orderly distribution.

The city government reaffirmed its commitment to working with national government agencies and other partners to deliver essential assistance and support to local communities.
