The Department of Agriculture Regional Field Office III (DA RFO III) is conducting a Regional Joint Planning Exercise to prepare its Fiscal Year 2028 Plan and Budget Proposals, aimed at strengthening agricultural development and support for farmers across Central Luzon.

Led by the agency’s Planning, Monitoring and Evaluation Division (PMED), the activity seeks to align regional programs, projects, and activities with the Department of Agriculture’s priorities and funding requirements for 2028.

The workshop brings together representatives from national government agencies, state universities and colleges, local government units, civil society organizations, and farmers’ cooperatives and associations.

Participants are reviewing and developing proposed programs and budget allocations to ensure coordinated planning, efficient resource utilization, and responsive agricultural initiatives.

The exercise underscores DA RFO III’s commitment to collaborative planning and strategic investments to strengthen Central Luzon’s agricultural sector and better serve farming communities.
