Pampanga steps up security preparations for Undas 2026

The Provincial Government of Pampanga has intensified coordination with law enforcement and disaster response agencies to ensure a safe, peaceful, and orderly observance of All Saints’ Day and All Souls’ Day.

Pampanga Police Provincial Office (PPO) Director PCOL Ricardo M. David met with Vice Governor Dennis “Delta” Pineda, Vice Governor’s Chief of Staff Angie Blanco, and representatives of the Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (PDRRMO) on Thursday, October 22, to discuss security and emergency preparedness measures for Undas 2026.

The meeting focused on strengthening police visibility, crime prevention, crowd management, and emergency response capabilities, particularly in cemeteries, churches, transport terminals, and other areas expected to draw large crowds during the annual observance.

Authorities also emphasized the importance of close coordination among concerned agencies to ensure public safety and maintain peace and order throughout the province.

The provincial government urged Kapampangans to remain vigilant, secure their homes and belongings before leaving, and immediately report suspicious activities to authorities.

The coordinated preparations form part of the province’s continuing efforts to safeguard residents and visitors as families gather to remember and honor their departed loved ones.

Through strengthened cooperation among the provincial government, police, PDRRMO, and partner agencies, Pampanga aims to ensure a safe, peaceful, and meaningful Undas observance for every Kapampangan family.
