Mabalacat Bike Parade promotes Consumer Awareness

Hundreds of cyclists joined Mabalacat City’s annual Bike Parade on October 27, 2026, in observance of Consumer Welfare Month, promoting consumer rights, product safety, and responsible buying.

Led by Mayor Geld Aquino and organized by the Public Market Administration Office under Ryan Mendiola, the activity gathered city government employees, local officials, and residents in support of the consumer awareness campaign.

Carrying the national theme, “Safe Products, Confident Consumers: Raising Standards for Safer Products and Stronger Consumer Confidence,” the parade aimed to encourage Mabalaqueños to make informed purchasing decisions and choose safe, quality products.

Aquino reaffirmed the city government’s commitment to protecting consumer welfare and promoting fair trade and responsible shopping.

The activity started at Puregold Dau at 6:30 a.m. and ended at City Hall in Xevera Tabun, where a short program was held.
