Lazatin visits Diaz training at Crossfit Kalye Sikanan

Angeles City Mayor Carmelo “Pogi” Lazatin Jr. on April 2, 2022 visits Olympic gold-medalist Hidilyn Diaz during her training at Crossfit Kalye Sikanan.

Mayor Lazatin said the Angeles City-based Diaz, who has a residence at the Decca Clark Resort and Residences in Brgy. Margot, Angeles City, trained in one of the crossfit gyms in the city.

The city government set aside P2 million to support the establishment of a weightlifting training facility in Angeles City to produce more athletes in the caliber of Olympic gold-medalist Diaz.
