AC LGU inspects BPOs

AC LGU inspects BPOs
The Business Permit and Licensing Division, headed by Evangeline Malonzo, and Angeles City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office, led by Rudy Simeon, on January 13, 2022, inspected business process outsourcing (BPO) companies in the city recently.
The inspection was conducted to ensure that BPOs are following safety protocols set by the City Government in accordance with the guidelines of the Inter-Agency Task Force on Emerging Infectious Diseases (IATF) and the Department of Health (DOH).
Angeles City Mayor Carmelo “Pogi” Lazatin Jr. has strictly ordered the wearing of face masks and observance of social distancing within the premises of the BPOs as well as the use of thermal guns to screen all employees who will enter their establishments.
There should also be a regular disinfection of the premises for at least five times a day – once before opening, three times during operating hours and once after closing.
He also ordered the installation of hand sanitizing stations in strategic places especially in entry and exit points of the BPOs. (ANGELES-CIO)
