AC residents avail of free seeds

Residents of Angeles City availed free seeds of pechay, mustasa, kalabasa, upland kangkong, sitao, okra, ornamental plants of papua, avallia, imelda, marigold, sanchesa, lerio, violeta, duranta, fortune and ever green provided by the Angeles City Government, under the leadership of Mayor Carmelo ‘Pogi’ Lazatin Jr.

Mayor Lazatin urges Angeleños to establish their own garden in their households.

For those who are interested to avail free ornamental, herbal, fruit-bearing, vegetable, and forestry plants/trees kindly visit the Angeles City Agriculture Office at City Hall, Monday to Thursday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

During the height of the pandemic, Mayor Lazatin launched ‘Luntian sa Barangay Lingap Project,’ a sustainable project for food security.

Various seeds such as petsay, mustasa, okra, and ampalaya were distributed to more than 150,000 households in the city alongside food packs during the series of distribution.

The project aims to encourage Angeleños to use their vacant lot and practice gardening at the comfort of their homes. (ANGELES CIO)
