Opportunity 2.0 (O2) supports existing programs and mechanisms on improving the education, employment, and livelihood outcomes of 180,000 out-of-school youth across 15 cities (including Angeles City) in the Philippines until 2025.
The USAID O2 Program provides a package of capacity-building activities for the ACYDA to perform effectively its function as an effective mechanism to bring together different agencies and organizations in the locality to create programs, streamline services and allot and share resources for the City’s out-of-school youth.
The Angeleños’ participation in the USAID program is part of Angeles City Mayor Carmelo ‘Pogi’ Lazatin Jr.’s mission to promote the welfare of all Angeleño youth.
