Angeleño painter Norman Tiotuico on January 27, 2022 paid a courtesy visit to Angeles City Mayor Carmelo ‘Pogi’ Lazatin Jr. to explain the proposed layout of the mural paintings that will be made near the One Town, One Product (OTOP) Store and at the Santungan Cultural Hub Project under the Abacan Bridge.

They were joined by Chief Adviser IC Calaguas and Executive Assistant IV Reina Manuel.
According to Mayor Lazatin, the said mural paintings is a way to uplift the cultural scene in the city and to develop cultural awareness among Angeleños thru art.

This is part of Mayor Lazatin’s showing of support to local artists who continue honing their craft, especially amid the pandemic.

“Nais kong pasalamatan ang mga Angeleno artists na boluntaryong nagbahagi ng kanilang talento at panahon, upang matulungan ang city government sa pagtataguyod pa ng sining at kultura sa siyudad,” Lazatin said.
