The DILG has also lauded the City Government for two consecutive years, in 2020 and 2021, for having Anti-Drug Programs with ‘High Functionality’. The citation plaques were received by the Angeles City Anti-Drug Abuse Council (ACADAC).

In August 2021, Angeles City received the Prime HRM Bronze Award from the Civil Service Commission (CSC).
