Angeles City Gov’t explores solid waste management program

Angeles City Mayor Carmelo ‘Pogi’ Lazatin Jr. is exploring a waste to energy technology for the city’s solid waste management.

With this, Chief Adviser and Tactician IC Calaguas and City Engineer Donato Dizon inspected the Pampang Public Market with representatives of Clean Leaf for further assessment.

Clean Leaf International Corporation is a duly registered Waste Management company that provides environmental services through transport, treatment, disposal and recovery of spent hazardous and non-hazardous materials.

Mayor Lazatin said the city is considering the use of waste to energy technology for a cleaner and greener environment.

Part of the flagship programs of Mayor Lazatin in his second term is environmental programs, showcasing a greener and cleaner city. (Angeles CIO)
