Angeles City gov’t gives med packs to home-quarantined COVID patients

The Angeles City Government, led by Mayor Carmelo “Pogi” Lazatin, Jr., on January 21, 2022 continued the distribution of medicine packages to home-isolated COVID-19 patients.

Inside the packages are azithromax, neozep, paracetamol, prednisone, and surgical masks.

The medicine packages were delivered by the Angeles City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office led by Rodolfo Simeon.

The medicines were prescribed by doctors of Rafael Lazatin Memorial Medical Center led by Dr. Froilan Canlas thru the telemedicine hotlines launched by Mayor Lazatin, a free consultation intended for medical concerns of COVID-19 patients that are currently in isolation or home quarantine.

Mayor Lazatin said this initiative is to assist COVID-19 patients to their full recovery, and also to help them financially, even in a small way only.

City Health Officer Dr. Verona Guevarra said the fastest way to recovery is full rest, drinking of plenty of water, eating nutritious foods, and taking prescribed medicines.

To recall, the city government has adopted the guidelines set by the Department of Health for home isolation and quarantine protocols for COVID-19 patients that are either fully vaccinated or not.
