The Angeles City Government joins the nation in mourning the passing of the 12th President of the Republic of the Philippines, Fidel Valdez Ramos.

Flags at the City College of Angeles, Museo ng Kasaysayang Panlipunan ng Pilipinas, and all city’s public schools are at half-mast.

This is relation to memorandum order no. 1144, series 2022 of Mayor Carmelo “Pogi” Lazatin, Jr. in accordance with the Presidential Declaration of a National Period of Mourning.

Mayor Lazatin is sending his condolences to the Ramos family, citing the former President’s great contributions to the country, particularly his involvement in peace talks with separatists, economic reforms and the Philippines 2000 Five-Point Program.
