Mega vaxx site closed June 20
Mayor Carmelo “Pogi” Lazatin, Jr. has decentralized the vaccinations sites to make it more accessible to Angeleños, starting today, June 21, 2022.

Chief Adviser IC Calaguas confirmed that the mega vaccination site at the City College of Angeles was closed on June 20. “Instead, there will be a scheduled vaccination at the designated Rural Health Units every Tuesday and Thursday, from 8AM to 4PM,” Calaguas said.
“Ang hangarin po ni Mayor Lazatin para sa inisyatibong ito ay dalhin ng mas malapit at accessible ang bakuna sa mga Angeleños,” Calaguas mentioned.


The RHUs that now serve as vaxx sites are as follows:
- RHU 1 Sto. Domingo Main Health Center which covers residents from Lourdes Sur, Pulungbulu, San Jose, San Nicolas, and Sto. Rosario;
- RHU 2 in Lourdes NorthWest catering barangays Anunas, Cuatan, Cutcut, Pampang, and Sta. Trinidad;
- RHU 3 located in Lourdes Sur East, which can attend to residents from barangays Agapito Del Rosario, Claro M. Recto, Malabanias, Sta. Teresita, and Virgen Delos Remedios.
- RHU 4 which is found in Barangay Balibago, also covers Angeleños coming from Amsic, Margot, and Sapangbato.
- RHU 5 in Pandan meanwhile also covers residents in Capaya, Mining, Ninoy Aquino, Salapungan, Sto. Cristo, and Tabun.
- For RHU 6 in Pulung Cacutud, four remaining barangays are under its care — Cutud, Pulung Cacutud, Pulung Maragul, and Sapalibutad.
According to City Health Officer Dr. Verona Guevarra, residents who are not yet vaccinated with first dose or not fully vaccinated with the second dose and booster, must go to the respective RHUs, where there are assigned doctors and health workers who will attend to the residents for vaccination.
