Artist for artists: A workshop at the Museo – The Voice Newsweekly

The Angeles City Tourism Office (ACTO), headed by Anneleen Antonio-Sugui, staged a workshop for aspiring Angeleño artists last Saturday, February 11, at Museo Ning Angeles.

The workshop, which was conducted by artist Aurelio De Guzman, was part of Angeles City’s celebration of the National Arts Month.

Through his work and experiences in the field of art, De Guzman aimed to inspire the local artists in attendance.

Angeles City Mayor Carmelo ‘Pogi’ Lazatin, Jr. has always been a staunch supporter of the arts and the Kapampangan artists, for whom he has deep respect because he believes “their talent and hard work deserve to be in the spotlight.”

Meanwhile, the City Government expressed gratitude to Kuliat Foundation, Inc. and its president, The Voice Newsweekly publisher Lincoln M. Baluyut, for providing the venue of the workshop.
