Mayor Carmelo ‘Pogi’ Lazatin, Jr. will begin distributing today, September 5, the stylish T-shirts, bags, school supplies and shoes to all public school students — day care, kindergarten, Grades 1 to 12 – in Angeles City.

Around 100,000 pairs of free shoes, t-shirts, bags, and school supplies will be personally delivered by Mayor Lazatin to the 53 public schools via schedule. Prior to the kick-off distribution, Chief Adviser IC Calaguas and Executive Assistant IV Reina Manuel already inspected the said uniforms, shoes, and school supplies.

With the supervision of Calaguas and Manuel, members of the Gender and Development Office, City Nutrition Office, Angeles City Emergency Command Center, General Services Office, and City Engineer’s Office will join and assist Mayor Lazatin in the set distribution.

One of the inauguration promises of Mayor Lazatin is to provide quality and accessible education, saying “No Angeleño youth will be left behind in terms of education.” (Angeles CIO)
