Baguio suspends classes, half-day work for Holy Week travel

Baguio City Mayor Benjamin Magalong has announced the suspension of classes at all levels, both in public and private schools, along with a half-day work suspension in the city government starting at noon on Holy Wednesday, April 1.

Magalong said the measure is intended to give residents ample time to travel to their home provinces ahead of the Holy Week observance.

He also urged the public to plan their trips carefully, avoid unnecessary travel, and practice energy conservation by saving fuel and electricity.
