BCDA urged over 200 Taiwanese businessmen to invest in New Clark City and consider the budding metropolis as their future home and growth hub in the Philippines.
During the recently concluded Philippine Investment Forum in Taiwan, BCDA Officer-In-Charge for Investment Promotions and Marketing Michelle De Vera presented existing projects being developed in #NewClarkCity, such as the 288-hectare mixed-use industrial Filinvest Innovation Park, as well as other investment opportunities in the fields of ICT, pharmaceutical, research and development, and renewable energy.
To further entice investors to consider New Clark City, Ms. De Vera also briefed delegates on several BCDA-led infrastructure projects aimed at improving accessibility and connectivity of #NewClarkCity to critical access points such as airport and seaport. These include the Clark International Airport New Passenger Terminal Building and major access roads connected to the Subic-Clark-Tarlac Expressway and North Luzon Expressway.
The forum – which was organized by the Department of Trade and Industry – Board of Investments (DTI-BOI) in collaboration with the Philippine Trade and Investment Center (PTIC) in Taipei, Manila Economic and Cultural Office (MECO) and Taipei Economic and Cultural Office (TECO) – is part of the government’s continuous efforts to lure in more Taiwanese companies to expand or set up their businesses in the Philippines.
