BDO Unibank is enhancing its digital wallet experience through BDO Pay, offering users more convenience and rewards for everyday transactions, including a referral program that allows customers to earn cash incentives.

Designed to simplify daily financial activities, BDO Pay enables users to pay bills, split group expenses, and send money quickly using their mobile devices.

As part of its ongoing promo, the app introduces a “Refer a Friend” campaign, allowing users to earn up to ₱1,000 per month in cash rewards. Customers can invite friends and family with BDO accounts to download the app using a referral code until June 30, 2026.

Both the referrer and the new user will receive ₱50 in cash credits once the registration is completed using the referral code, encouraging users to share the benefits within their network.

Beyond referrals, BDO Pay offers a range of features, including QR payments to merchants using a BDO credit card or bank account, bill payments to more than 2,100 billers with no fees, and fund transfers to other banks and digital wallets for a minimal charge.

The app also provides added security and flexibility for credit card holders, allowing them to lock or unlock their cards, manage services, access installment options, and redeem rewards points for e-gifts or bill payments.

BDO said even non-account holders can access the app by opening a BDO Basic Account with no initial deposit or maintaining balance, making digital financial services more accessible to a wider market.

The initiative underscores the bank’s push to make everyday payments not only seamless but also more rewarding for its users.
