On behalf of Angeles City Mayor Carmelo ‘Pogi’ Lazatin Jr., Chief Adviser IC Calaguas on January 27, 2022 presided over a meeting on the city government’s preparation for the start of booster shots administration to bedridden elderly, persons with disabilities and 80-99 years old which will kick-off on January 31, 2022.
Apart from the inoculation of booster shots to PWDs and elderlies, the city government will also start the house-to-house distribution of P1,000 financial assistance and vitamin supplements to all registered senior citizens and indigent PWDs on February 7, 2022.
The city government will also distribute P1,000 cash aid to some 4,000 indigent solo parents the following week.
The distribution of vitamin C supplements to Angeleño kids will also commence on February 7, 2022.
Present during the meeting are Executive Assistant IV Reina Manuel, Angeles City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Officer Rudy Simeon, Gender and Development Officer Mina Cabiles, City Nutrition Officer Donna Guanzon, Office for Senior Citizens Affairs Staff May David, Angeles City Solo Parent Focal Person Rebecca Peñaranda, Persons with Disabilities Affairs Officer Alma Vital, and City Social Welfare and Development Office Staff Mariel Manaloto.
