C Panda opens at SM Clark

ANGELES CITY —- A hot pot is a tasty, festive and collective cooking and dining experience that involves a table set with a portable butane stove, a pot of simmering broth and platters of meat, seafood and vegetables.

And this can be had at C Panda Buffet and Hotpot, the newest self-service hot pot restaurant that is now ready to serve you following its grand opening was on December 12 at the SM City Clark.

The ribbon-cutting ceremony was graced by C Panda CEO Vivian Hao, together with Mandy Huang and Annie Wang. Other guests were Dr. Noel Jusay Laxamana and actor-comedian Jimmy Santos .

Hao said she chose to put up a business here in Pampanga because she fell in love with the province, with its fresh air and the warmth of the Kapampangans..

She originally wanted to open the restaurant for her fellow Chinese living here. But since Kapampangans are also food lovers, she wanted to share the Chinese culture through their cuisine.

In the spirit of hot pot C Panda recipes are flexible with various condiments and dipping sauces. You can mix and match meatballs , squid, shrimp, beef and lamb slices, fish tofu, fish dumplings, salmon, chopped corn, enoki mushroom, bihon, and lotus slices.

Customers are free to sub out any of the ingredients according to their taste.

Spices

The pot is divided in two and contains regular and spicy broth where the soup is cooked according to preference.

 

Some play with the broth to cook up a variety of flavors with the vegetable and protein ingredients.

Aside from the hot pot, C Panda main dishes include Peking duck, fried chicken, roasted chicken, sweet and sour pork, boiled clam, stir fried crab, spicy baby lobster, fried rice and fried noodles.

It also offers unlimited beer and a variety of juices like mango, orange, pineapple, and peach. Milk tea and ice tea are available too.

 

For the sweet tooth, desserts available include ice cream, cookies, cupcakes and pudding cake.

For health buffs, a variety of fruits are also served like watermelon, cantaloupe, bananas and yellow peach.

 

Customers can partake of all these for only Php499. Promos also await customers.

 

On December 15, there will be a Free Eating Day. All you have to do is like and share the C Panda page/account to your Facebook timeline and tag your friends. Take a screenshot of your post as proof and present it upon entry at the restaurant.
