The Pampanga provincial government recently facilitated a training for some 112 guidance counselor designates in the province.

The participants attended a two day training dubbed “Capacity Building on Guidance Counselor Designates” where they underwent various training and workshops.

The first training was on April 14 that discussed cases of youth issues in the province, algorithm of the college mental health wellness program, and recommended interventions for at risk youth while the second training was on April 15 focused on studying aspects of an individual’s actions, manners and behavior.

On behalf of Governor Dennis ‘Delta’ Pineda, 3rd District Board Member Mica Gonzales led the training workshop at the Bren Z. Guiao Convention Center.

Governor Delta recently implemented Executive Order No. 10-2023 to focus on and address reported issues involving youth in Pampanga through the formation of a “Provincial Mental Health Wellness In Campuses Taskforce.”

The training was conducted with the help of staff from the Provincial Library, PDRRMO and DepEd. (Pampanga PIO)
