Holcim Philippines delivers strong performance through continued operational and cost excellence.
Leading fiber broadband provider Converge ICT Solutions Inc. (PSE:CNVRG) on Thursday reported a net income of nearly P5.2 billion at the end of September 2021, more than doubling at approximately 136% growth over the P2.2 billion net earnings booked in the same period last year, amid continued strong growth in its subscriber base and sustained recovery of its business segment led by small and medium enterprises (SMEs).
Emperador Inc. – the largest global brandy company owning the world’s iconic and best- selling brandy Emperador Brandy – saw normalized net profit to owners grow by 35% year-on-year to P7.9 billion in the first nine months of 2021, while revenues rose by 11% to P38.4 billion. Even after deducting a non-cash deferred tax expense, net profit to owners increased by 24% to P7.3 billion.
Megaworld, the country’s largest developer of integrated urban townships, grew its net income by 46% to P3.3-billion in the third quarter this year from P2.2-billion during the same period last year as the company begins its recovery phase with eased restrictions and gradual re-opening of the country’s economy.
