With their continuous strict enforcement of quarantine protocols in the region, Central Luzon police have apprehended more than a thousand violators.
According to Police Regional Office 3 Regional Director PBGen.Valeriano T. De Leon, stern enforcement of IATF regulations resulted in the apprehension of a total of 1,392 violators, as of September 19.
Of this number, 940 were caught for the improper wearing and not wearing of face masks; 311 were caught for the improper wearing and not wearing of face shield; 8 were apprehended for prohibition on mass gathering; 133 were warned for violation of social distancing.
Meanwhile, in compliance with the IATF Guidelines on health restriction, the PNP has refused entry to the region of about 155 persons.
The police regional director stressed, “We continuously appeal to the public for understanding and adherence on the IATF restrictions as we continue to be very strict in its implementation.” (PIO-3)
