“We grew during the pandemic. We call it the COVID tail wind. Part of this is that the globe had a lesson in remote working and many of our customers find that business is growing even faster (amid work-from-home conditions). Hence, the reason why we’re in a strange position where we’re opening more office spaces rather than letting them go,” Ernst pointed out.

“Instead of a work place, we want the workers to feel like part of the family and that’s what we’re trying to achieve. Offices include two virtual reality caves for software testing, a network operations center, and a first-class lounge where the staff can relax. They have massage chairs and beer Fridays, we have perks and  libraries that are different from usual business offices,” Ernst said.

Ernst established Cloudstaff Philippines Inc. in 2005, initially focusing on software development for Western markets. From the initial of only 10 employees, the workforce has grown to almost 5,000 to date serving clients from all parts of the world.

Ernst said they are always looking for staff and urged individuals looking for a job and interested in Cloudstaff could drop by their offices in the Clark Freeport Zone, Angeles City, Pasig City, Makati City, Cebu City and Baguio City.
