The Warrior Angels of Angeles City had arrived at various sports venues in the region for the Central Luzon Regional Athletic Association (CLRAA) Meet 2023 and were warmly greeted by the host schools.

Showing support and hospitality the host Schools Divisions prepared a warm welcome to the athletes as they set up banners and posters featuring the players and their sports. The teachers and students attended the welcome program and also showed off different presentations for the players who arrived.
More than 417 players, coaches, and officials, led by the Schools Division Superintendent of DepEd Angeles City Dr. Ronaldo A. Pozon, participated.
The Education Program Supervisor and also the Division Athletic Manager Dr. Percival Capitulo said they are grateful for the warm reception of the host schools.
“Nakakataba ng puso na makita ang suporta at enthusiasm ng mga estudyante at guro para sa nalalapit na CLRAA Meet. Malaking motivation ito para sa aming mga manlalaro upang magbigay ng kanilang pinakamahusay na makakaya at i-representa ang DepEd Angeles nang may dangal,” Capitulo said.

The participants will compete in various sporting events such as Arnis and volleyball in Bataan, basketball and table tennis in Balanga City, tennis and archery in Bulacan, badminton in Malolos City, chess, futsal and softball in Nueva Ecija, sepak takraw in Pampanga, and football and baseball in Tarlac Province, and athletics, swimming, dance sports and para games in Zambales.

The CLRAA Meet 2023 is an annual sports competition that gives players from different cities and towns in the Central Luzon region an opportunity. It aims to promote sportsmanship, brotherhood, and healthy competition among students, and serves as a platform for talented players to showcase their skills. The winners of these events will represent Region 3 in the upcoming Palarong Pambansa.
DepEd Angeles City believes in their chances in CLRAA Meet 2023. They have been training for a long time, and they are determined to give their best performance and hoping to bring home medals and make the city proud. (DepEd Tayo Angeles City)
