CONG. POGI LAZATIN MARKS FIRST 100 DAYS WITH 4,410 DAYCARE STUDENTS RECEIVING SCHOOL SUPPLIES

In his first 100 days as Pampanga First District Representative, Cong. Carmelo “Pogi” Lazatin, Jr. personally distributed school supplies to 4,410 daycare students across Mabalacat City and Magalang, using his own funds.

A total of 2,745 students in Mabalacat City and 1,665 in Magalang received complete school kits consisting of crayons, notebooks, pencils, erasers, sharpeners, and writing pads. Parents of each student also received five kilos of rice from Lazatin.

In line with his commitment to early childhood education, Lazatin announced plans to request ₱260 million in the 2026 budget for the rehabilitation of all 173 daycare centers in the First District — including the installation of air-conditioning units and smart TVs in each center.

He also plans to allocate ₱200 million for the construction of computer laboratories in 19 public high schools across Angeles City, Mabalacat City, and Magalang.

Lazatin, who previously served as Angeles City Mayor, is known for spearheading the citywide distribution of free school kits to over 97,000 students. He also continues his support for education infrastructure, recently donating 580 sacks of cement, 116 liters of paint, and 232 paint brushes to public schools during Brigada Eskwela 2025.
