CSF Giant Lantern Tourist and Information Center inaugurated

The City Government of San Fernando and SM Prime Holdings, Inc. inaugurated, May 27, 2022, a new center showcasing the centuries-old tradition of giant lantern making – the Giant Lantern Tourist and Information Center at the former Paskuhan Village.

Leading the inauguration rites were City Mayor Edwin “EdSa” Santiago and Jose Mari Banzon, President SM Development Corporation, the project’s developer, along with several representatives from the public and private sector.

In just a few days, the center – housing an exhibit space, a museum, pasalubong shop, library and archives center, an office for the City’s tourism department, and a conference room – will open its doors to the public. (CSF CIO)
