CSF installed markers under EDSA admin
The City Government of San Fernando on May 26, 2022 installed markers on infrastructure projects built under the administration of Mayor Edwin “EdSa” Santiago.
Santiago, together with city councilor elect Angel Wijangco, representatives from private sector and local government unit’s department heads, led the unveiling of markers on seven infrastructure projects.





Among the projects were the Malpitic and Child Development Center, and the three-storey 9-classroom school building of the Information and Communication Technology High School, both were constructed in 2018; four-storey eight-classroom school building at the City Civic Center and Sindalan Elementary School constructed in 2019; Department of Education (DepEd) Division Office Training Center, built in 2020; and, bike lane & side walk along the Tourism road and Northville 14 bridge, completed this 2022.
Under his 10-point agenda, Mayor EdSa highlighted infrastructure development with the slogan “Moderno at Ligtas na Imprastraktura, Tungo sa Maunlad na Ekonomiya.”
“Ang mga gusali at daanan na ating ipinagawa ay mananatiling simbolo ng kaligtasan at kaunlaran sa Siyudad San Fernando. This is for the Fernandinos, most especially sa ating mga anak, ang mga susunod na henerasyon. Hindi na natin kailangang mag-alala pa sa kanilang kaligtasan sa susunod na panahon dahil ngayon pa lamang ay ligtas at payapa na ang kanilang tahanan–ang San Fernando,” said Santiago.
According to the City Engineer’s Office, between 2013 and 2022, the Santiago administration completed 1,153 infrastructure projects.
Among accomplished projects were 376 vertical structures, 74 new edifices which consist of 40 new school buildings (equivalent to 276 new classrooms), 16 new child development centers, five new health centers and 13 multipurpose halls. (CSF CIO)
