CSFP CDRRMC discuss preps for rainy season

City Mayor Vilma Caluag convened the members of the City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (CDRRMC) on July 28 to tackle plans for the rainy season.

The council presented to Caluag, who is council chair, the accomplishments as well as the strategies in preparation for and in response to rain and flood-related incidents, including the year-round flood control projects such as the desilting, clearing and de-clogging of major waterways and creeks.

Also discussed were the manpower, vehicles, equipment, supplies, materials and funds available for disaster mitigation and response. (CSFP CIO)
