Following the declaration of Level 2 by the government in Pampanga and Angeles City, there was merriment, setting of new goals and fresh plans for life that was relished by a section of society that admires art and try to find the meaning hidden within.
The best way to do so is to visit an art exhibition, where artists that have been confined in their homes or studios during the pandemic can display their artistry during the trying times.
And there is no shortage of talented Kapampangan artists that have become master at their craft over the years. The pandemic has also given birth to new artists.
The theme describes the celebration of the gathering of the artists after being hidden upon the onset of the pandemic.
The celebration was graced by Angeles City Mayor Carmelo “Pogi” Lazatin Jr. and Vice-Mayor Vicky Vega. They were joined by City Councilor Jay Sangil, council hopeful Rodelio “TMAC” Mamac, Jr. and officials of the SM City Clark led by Mall Manager Jerwin Jalandoni.
The event is also in accordance with Lazatin’s request for malls in Angeles City to provide a venue for artists to feature their artworks on a monthly basis to help them recover from the impact of the pandemic.
Most of the art works on display at the Diua ning Pamitipun art exhibit are for sale.
Come and visit the art exhibit at the Ground Level of the SM City Clark and take your pick as you enjoy the impressive works of Pampanga’s very own talented artists.
Diua ning Pamitipun is open until December 23, 2021.
