DPWH concretes local road in Anao

TARLAC CITY (PIA) — Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) completed the concreting of a local road in Anao, Tarlac.
 
The 902-lineal meter Guerrero Road is located in barangay San Jose North.
 
DPWH Tarlac 1st District Engineer Neil Farala said improving mobility within agricultural communities by providing residents with better and safer roads is part of the agency’s commitment to boosting rural development.
 
“This new paved road will make it easier to deliver agricultural products from barangay San Jose North to the town market and we are optimistic that this project will greatly contribute to the province’s agricultural development,” Farala said.
 
Resident Cornelio Cayme said the road project helps in improving the livelihood activities of the farmers.
 
The P9.6-million infrastructure was funded under the 2022 General Appropriations Act. (CLJD-PIA 3)
