The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) Region III has redeployed 26 Motorist Assistance Centers along key highways in Central Luzon starting 8:00 AM on April 1, 2026, as part of the Holy Week implementation of the Lakbay-Alalay Program.

The initiative, in line with President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr.’s directive, aims to ensure safe and comfortable travel by maintaining national roads and providing support to motorists during the peak travel period of Semana Santa.
The program will remain active until 5:00 PM on Saturday, April 4, coinciding with the expected surge of travelers returning from their provincial trips.
