BALANGA CITY (PIA) — Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) turned over a multi-purpose building at barangay East Daang Bago in Samal, Bataan.
The two-storey infrastructure has a total area of 144.40 square meters.
“It now provides local officials with a safer and more efficient venue to deliver government services to the community,” DPWH Bataan 1st District Engineer Erlindo Flores Jr. said.
P7.2 million was allocated for the project under the 2022 national budget.
In behalf of the village officials, Barangay Kagawad Joseph De Jesus said they are happy that they now have a new barangay hall that is more presentable and spacious,
He added that it will now be more comfortable to hold their meetings and other events. (CLJD-PIA 3)
